Publisher Description
Pocket Lists is a beautifully designed to-do list app for making checklists, focusing on important tasks, sharing & collaborating on to-do lists and tasks with friends and family. The app excels as both an everyday personal to-do list organizer with sophisticated reminder functionality, and as a family collaboration app for groceries, travel packing, Christmas lists, gift ideas, vacation planning, and more.
You’ll love Pocket Lists for being powerful yet surprisingly easy to use. The app’s feature set makes it a superb replacement for most checklist and to-do list apps, including the stock Reminders app:
. Sync your to-do lists across all your devices for free.
. Share to-do lists and collaborate on tasks with friends, family, and teammates. Sharing a list is as easy as sending a link.
. Personalize your to-do lists with a variety of beautiful icons and cover images for all sorts of things. 400+ awesome colorful icons included!
. To-do Stream: a dynamic to-do list (filter) that collects to-dos among all your checklists, and displays them in the priority & due order, allowing you to focus on what’s important right now.
. All types of to-do reminders: due date, due time, repeating, and location-based - drop pin anywhere on a map, select either “arrive to” or “leave from”, and even define a location radius.
. Set due reminders by typing naturally: “Meeting tomorrow morning”, “Car service Saturday 7pm”, “Prepare Christmas gift list on dec 20 every year”, “Cinema Friday night” and so on. The app automatically understands due date from your input, and sets a reminder.
. Calendar view: rotate your iPhone into landscape mode to see all your scheduled to-dos in a monthly calendar layout.
. Import to-dos and events from stock Reminders and Calendar apps.
. And a lot more:
- Priorities & Notes for to-do items,
- To-do item search,
- Quick inline to-do add,
- Support for #hashtags,
- Dark Mode,
- Archiving feature for hiding certain checklists,
- Copy & Paste add of multiple to-dos at a time,

Plus an awesome bundle of premium features available as an optional auto-renewable in-app subscription or a one-time purchase:
+ Web App that allows you to work with your checklists using any desktop computer,
+ Subtasks: easily divide big tasks into smaller to-dos,
+ Superpriorities (+3 priority levels): mark particular to-dos as urgent, critical, or not important,
+ Private lists: lock particular to-do lists with passcodes and unlock with Touch ID or Face ID,

New in 2.7.2: Introducing Pocket Lists for families! This update makes Pocket Lists the first to-do list app designed specifically for family collaboration. Shared to-do lists had been a feature of many apps out there, but there were no apps yet with the family collaboration in the very heart of the app. We are proud to make Pocket Lists the first app of this kind!
The new 'Family' tab integrates real-time collaboration and sharing, and makes it very easy for all family members to work together as an efficient productive team (up to 6 members per family): share to-do lists with each other, view family activity log, assign tasks.
New family collaboration features are perfectly aligned with the app's personal organization capabilities thanks to flexible access rights setup. This makes the app useful for both private and shared to-do lists — all in one place.
Basic family collaboration functionality is available for free! An optional family subscription enables additional features such as family activity log and to-do assignments. And grants all Pocket Lists premium features to each family member you invite.
We are always glad to hear your feedback! Please reach us at hello@pocketlists.com in case of any questions or ideas on how to make Pocket Lists work for your family even better.
And one more thing: the Dark Mode is a free feature from now on! 2.7.3 08/14/2019 Introducing Pocket Lists for families! This update makes Pocket Lists the first to-do list app designed specifically for family collaboration. Shared to-do lists had been a feature of many apps out there, but there were no apps yet with the family collaboration in the very heart of the app. We are proud to make Pocket Lists the first app of this kind!

And one more thing: the Dark Mode is a free feature from now on! 2.7.2 08/14/2019 Huge update: Dark Mode + Custom List Icons + Sounds + Apple Watch app improvements + Lots of tweaks and bug fixes.
The most prominent new feature is the all-new gorgeous Dark Mode, a distinct app mode for working in a dim light. All built-in colorful list icons and cover images look absolutely stunning in both light and the new dark environments. The Dark Mode is available as part of the premium subscription, but you may test it in the Settings > Dark Mode with no limitations.
Another new premium feature is the ability to use custom images as list icons. Simply select a photo, choose an appropriate clipping mask, and you are good to go. It's the ultimate option when none of built-in 400+ list icons fit the idea of the list.
One of the most anticipated features on our wish list — the ability to select/customize sound alert for to-do notifications — is now available too! We've added 20 awesome sound effects, so you may select your favorite one and even configure it based on a to-do list and a priority such that to-dos from different lists and of different priorities will get different sound alerts. The basic notification sound selection is available for free, and by-list and by-priority configurations are available as part of the premium subscription.
In the watchOS app, we've updated complications rendering algorithm so now it will show you the up-to-date number of remaining 'overdue + today' to-dos comparing it with the number of to-dos completed today (during last 24 hours).
Some bugs were fixed with this update as well. Including the bug with the app icon badge counter that was disappearing under certain conditions.
With this big update, we have finalized our work on all premium features planned for this year.
The Family subscription is the next major update on our list, and we just can't wait to ship it later this summer.
Thank you for using Pocket Lists and for your feedback! 2.6.0 06/17/2019 - Improved the export/import functionality to match the format supported by the native iOS Notes app. Adding multiple to-dos by copying-and-pasting a long text just got better!
- Fixed a crashing issue that affected Pocket Lists installations on iPhone Xr and iPhone Xs Max devices.
- Raised the minimum required iOS version from 10 to 11. 2.5.1 05/07/2019 To-do list sharing & collaboration is now easier than ever!
Using the new Sharing tab, it is super easy to quickly find friends and teammates and invite them to work together on to-do lists and tasks. Invitations work on a per-list basis and can be sent to anyone (any phone, any email) via AirDrop, iMessage, email, and any other way.
Once the collaboration has started, the Sharing tab will always reflect the actual picture of which lists are shared and with whom. With the ability to share additional lists directly with just a single tap.
Sharing is especially handy when you share lists with people who are using iOS — thanks to the support of iOS Universal Links and the Pocket Lists app for iMessage.
In addition to the Sharing tab, this update introduces lots of other important improvements:
— Cloud Sync: the background sync update and the overall syncing speed were improved.
— Support Hub: useful articles, community discussions, feature requests, bug reports, and more. The all-new Support Hub is hosted on PocketLists.com and is accessible from the app Settings > Get Help menu. It's the ultimate place to ask any questions about Pocket Lists and get in touch with the developers and other app users.
— Tweaks and fixes: fixed bugs (mostly related to the sync/import update and duplicating issues) and applied multiple minor user interface improvements which make the app feel even more friendly and efficient. 2.5.0 04/29/2019 File Attachments are here!
The long-awaited file attachments feature is here and is available as part of the premium package! You may now attach as many files and photos to a to-do item as you wish, and they will be automatically backed up and synced via the PocketLists.com cloud. The only limitation is 30 MB per file.
Few bugs and issues were fixed with this update as well: mostly bugs related to to-do reminders and the data sync minor glitches.
Up Next: syncing performance and stability (including the new way to handle item sort order syncing), better user interface for to-do list sharing, and the Dark Mode. 2.4.3 03/29/2019
